The company recently announced it has executed a Distributor Agreement to market PetroLuxus™ products in the African Nation of Nigeria. Kobal Global (Nig) Ltd. will market PetroLuxus™ chemical solutions for tank cleaning, well bore and production string cleanup and enhanced oil recovery/well stimulation to the oil rich nation of Nigeria. In addition, PRRY also recently announced a collaboration with Affordable Bio Feedstock of Florida. Representatives from both companies have joined together and completed tests to evaluate processes and techniques for utilizing Planet Resource Recovery, Inc.’s premier product, PetroLuxus™, for separation and recovery of oils from trap grease and other sources for waste grease. . PetroLuxus™ PetroLuxus™, (Petro - short for petroleum and Luxus - Latin derivation of Luxate - to dislocate or dislodge) is the proprietary base formula of the PetroLuxus™ family of products. All derivative PetroLuxus™ products maintain general characteristics but are blended for specific applications. The chemical formulation is an aqueous solution that specifically targets Hydrogen, Oxygen and Carbon elements in relationship to hydrocarbon bearing materials. It is a Multi-faceted chemical that uniquely works to break the bond of hydrocarbons to any other material to which it is attached. PetroLuxus™ when introduced to hydrocarbon bearing compounds, works to initiate an ionic exchange mechanism that makes hydrocarbons hydrophobic and colloidal. The chemical further enhances separation by reducing friction and relieving surface tension. The process works in most applications where it is desirable to separate oil or hydrocarbon based materials from water, solids, particulate matter and metals for recovery of the components. Further, when in contact with oil and due to the chemical's inherent ability to reduce the frictional coefficient, PetroLuxus™ reduces relative viscosity by the order of several magnitudes, thus allowing viscous oil based materials to flow more freely. Once the circulation of the treated oil bearing material is stopped and the mixture is allowed to remain static, near immediate separation begins, allowing the components such as oil, water and solids to separate by specific gravity. Our tests have shown that the separated oil retains its original characteristics and is not adversely affected by treatment, water is significantly cleaner and solids are separated for easy collection and disposal. Raptor Ventures LLC has been established to work other companies as a joint venture partner and Oil Recovery Ventures LLC deploys PetroLuxus™ through joint ventures in the Enhanced Oil Recovery market, direct sales and is a holding company for oil and gas well working interest. Oil Recovery Ventures is the exclusive marketer of PetroLuxus™ MMMF, a specially blended formulation for the Enhanced Oil Recovery market. PetroLuxus™ MMMF eliminates the interfacial surface tension between oil and all matter it's adhered to including sand, clay, rock, shale, heavy metals, etc. The elimination of surface tension permits the oil to separate for economically viable extraction. Exponential sales and profit opportunities can be exploited through the company's subsidiaries and offer increased profit potential through participation in profit sharing from ventures that will be managed through ORV and process design and construction that provide enhanced revenue through process sales and licensing agreements that will be developed by RTI. Planet Resource Recovery recently announced the collaboration between the company and Affordable Bio Feedstock of Florida. The collaboration is aimed at developing a process utilizing PetroLuxus™ products for the separation and recovery of oils from waste trap grease materials rendering an affordable, marketable grease feedstock for biodiesel producers. Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. will supply PetroLuxus™ products, technical advice and assistance on the design and development of the process. Affordable Bio Feedstocks will develop and build the modular process units. Affordable Bio Feedstock will own the process technology and equipment. The National Renewable Energy Lab estimates the US generates 495 million gallons of waste grease trap material yearly - which does not include millions of gallons of waste grease captured at municipal water treatment plants. Despite an abundant source of raw material for fuel, no viable technology has been developed to convert this trash into a marketable source of biodiesel feedstock due to chemical and engineering challenges. Affordable Bio Feedstock has been in discussions with numerous domestic and international biodiesel producers seeking an affordable alternative feedstock. To date, Affordable Bio Feedstock has purchase commitments from Biodiesel producers approaching 50 million gallons of raw feedstock annually once the technology is developed and deployed. This quantity of raw feedstock represents an estimated $25 million per year revenue stream for Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. PRRY also announced it has executed a service agreement with Foster Oil and Gas of Independence, Kansas, to treat a series of wells with PetroLuxus™. The various wells selected for treatment are located in the Southeastern quadrant of Kansas and are typical representations of the area being relatively shallow with sandstone formations. Foster Oil & Gas has over six hundred wells in the region that potentially may be treated. Additionally, Foster Oil & Gas has elected to pilot test the effectiveness of PetroLuxus™ on a coal-bed methane gas well in the same region. The Projects The projects listed below are but a few examples of the way PetroLuxus™ products can positively impact a variety of applications. BIO-DIESEL: Current U.S. production of bio-diesel exceeds 300 million barrels annually and is forecasted to increase substantially each year. Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. is currently working with several producers in the Houston, Texas area, that could generate PetroLuxus™ sales revenues, over the next eighteen months, in excess of $20 million through the treatment of bio-diesel feed stock. OIL-BASED DRILLING MUD WASTE: The waste produced from using oil based drilling mud combined with the fine cuttings of rock and mineral matter results in a viscous compound that, until recently, could not be broken or separated. The company is presently defining an agreement that will be managed through Oil Recovery Ventures, LLC, that could result in product sales and joint venture revenues exceeding $20 million annually. HEAVY OIL: In North America alone, recoverable reserves of heavy oil are estimated at more than 500 billion barrels. Enhancements of heavy oil as a recoverable product are tremendous! PetroLuxus™ has the potential to provide solutions to many of the negative characteristics of heavy oil during production and processing in a cost effective manner. OIL CONTAMINATED WASTE WATER / API SEPARATORS: PetroLuxus™ treatment of contaminated water readily separates the entrained oil for collection and removal leaving water that is easily disposed of by conventional methods. Water in waste oil, different types of sludge, emulsions and other contaminated waste streams can be treated with PetroLuxus™ to promote separation and recovery of the oil. Recovery vs. disposal provides yet another way to maximize oil recovery and minimize environmental concerns. REMEDIATION OF CONTAMINATED SOIL / SLUDGE AND TAILING PONDS: PetroLuxus™ products are designed not only to remediate a hydrocarbon contaminated soil or pond but to allow separation and collection of the valuable oil. Cost to respond to remediation issues is a multi-billion dollar industry and continues to be an environmental concern regarding issues of disposal. PetroLuxus™ products can provide the opportunity to treat and recover rather than treat for disposal. STORAGE TANK BOTTOMS: PetroLuxus™ has a formulation dedicated to cleaning tank bottoms in an efficient and cost effective manner. PetroLuxus™ products offer the potential to recover thousands of gallons of oil from tank bottoms while making the cleaning process easier, safer and less labor intensive. The impact is cost savings to the industry; less environmental impact from the use of harsh chemicals and petroleum distillates and recovery of oil that improves our resource utilization. The Market The US Department of Energy's Office of Fossil Energy estimates that "more than 60% of all known oil reserves in the United States remain untapped because of difficulties in extraction from the ground." These huge untapped oil supplies are difficult to extract due to the oil held in place by molecular forces of cohesion and adhesion. Technologies to increase extraction of oil held in place are known as the Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) industry. The EOR industry aims to increase extraction in marginal wells where oil production has slowed to 15 barrels a day or less. According to The Office of Fossil Energy, "There are nearly 500,000 of these wells in the US, and together they produce about the same amount of oil as America imports from Saudi Arabia." In 2006, the DOE published a series of reports examining the potential resource of stranded oil remaining within existing oil fields of the United States and has concluded that this resource could contain 377 billion barrels of oil that could be the target for Enhanced Oil Recovery. The DOE has estimated that undeveloped domestic oil reserves still in the ground (in-place) total 1,124 billion barrels. Of this large in-place resource, 430 billion barrels is estimated to be technically recoverable. This resource includes undiscovered oil, "stranded" light oil amenable to CO2 enhanced oil recovery technologies, unconventional oil (deep heavy oil and tar sands) and new petroleum concepts (residual oil in reservoir transition zones). The DOE has estimated that over the next 25 years oil imports will double and unless additional domestic supplies are exploited a reliable supply of imported oil cannot be guaranteed. Frank Crane - Production and Process Manager The Future Planet Resource Recovery, Inc. commenced working with an AMEX listed oil production company in January 2008, with the goal to treat a series of wells to increase oil production with its down hole treatment product - PetroLuxus(TM) MMMF. The company's wells are in the Austin Chalk formation in Texas. This oil well treatment marks the first accurate daily measurement of the effectiveness of PetroLuxus(TM) MMMF. The selected primary oil well treatment had dramatically declined in production since being brought back online in September of 2007. This well's oil production had slipped in production from over 750 barrels oil per month to less than 85 barrels of oil per month. The first PetroLuxus(TM) MMMF treatment was performed in February 2008. Improved results were realized within two weeks, which was extremely encouraging as porosity in the Austin Chalk is some of the lowest in any formation. Oil production at the primary treated well for February and March 2008 has been significantly improved with over 285 and 287 barrels, respectfully, of oil for each month, and through April 21, 2008 the well has continued to average about ten barrels of oil per day. The company's most recent development was the execution of a Distributor Agreement to market PetroLuxus(TM) products in the African Nation of Nigeria. Nigeria is the largest oil producer in Africa, the eleventh largest producer of crude oil in the world and the world’s eight largest exporter of crude oil and the country is a major oil exporter to the United States with 42 percent of its crude exports going to the United States in 2006. According to Oil and Gas Journal, Nigeria had 36.2 billion barrels of proven oil reserves as of January 2007 and the Nigerian government plans to expand its proven reserves to 40 billion barrels by 2010.
